This 1993 Acura NSX was purchased new by the current owner in Claremont, California and now shows just under 14k miles. Finished in Berlina Black over a black leather interior, the car is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 mated to a 5-speed manual transaxle. A new A/C compressor was installed and an oil service was completed in December 2018. This NSX is now being offered on the current owner’s behalf with some service records, factory manuals, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clear California title.
Aluminum body panels wear a Berlina Black finish, and the recent Carfax report lists no history of accidents or other damage. This car is one of 215 examples built for the US market in 1993 with this exterior color, and the seller notes some blemishes on the front spoiler. The car has reportedly been kept under a cover in a garage when not in use.
Aluminum double wishbone suspension came standard, along with 4-wheel ventilated disc brakes, ABS, and rack-and-pinion steering. Stock 5-spoke alloy wheels measure 15” up front and 16” out back, with each corner pictured in the gallery below. Yokohama tires are date-coded from 2000.
The interior is upholstered in black leather, and factory equipment includes a Bose stereo, trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, power seats, and an NSX-branded car phone. A new air conditioning compressor was installed in December 2018.
Instrumentation includes a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, and a mechanical odometer showing just under 14k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter DOHC V6 is equipped with VTEC variable valve timing and was factory-rated at 270 horsepower when new. An oil service was recently performed, and the timing belt has not been replaced per the seller.
