This 1991 Acura NSX was purchased by the seller’s father in 2002 and inherited in 2005 by the seller, who has since added 59k of the 91k indicated miles. The car is finished in Berlina Black over black leather, and power is from a mid-mounted 3.0-liter DOHC V6 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes powered seats, a Bose stereo, and a factory limited-slip differential. Modifications consist of WORK Equip wheels and a trunk-mounted Sony CD changer. This NSX received an oil/filter change in 2018, and it is now being offered with its factory alloy wheels, the original window sticker, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clear Rhode Island title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Berlina Black (NH-547) and the front bumper is said to have been repainted in 2003 to repair chips, though the seller notes that new chips are present. The finish is shown in a number of up-close photos in the gallery below, including of the fading on the passenger-side B-pillar. A new windshield and seals were reportedly installed in 2013.
WORK Equip wheels measure 17″ and 18″ in diameter front and rear respectively, and they wear 215/40 and 275/35 tires. The seller is including the factory alloy wheels in the sale. The suspension utilizes forged aluminum double wishbones with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is from 4-wheel ventilated discs. New front and rear struts, ball joints, and hub assemblies were installed in 2013.
The cabin features black leather on the 4-way powered seats, door panels, and steering wheel. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat bolster, and the floor mats have been removed. The seller reports that the driver-side window motor was replaced during his ownership.
The car retains its factory Bose stereo and has been modified with an aftermarket Sony 10-disc CD changer installed in the trunk. The 6-digit odometer shows 91k miles, 59k of which were added by the seller.
The transverse 3.0-liter DOHC V6 was rated at 270 horsepower when new and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The transmission number (J4A4-1003255) is reported to fall outside of snap-ring failure range. A limited-slip differential was included from the factory, and a new clutch and axle bearing boots were installed in 2013. A new battery was installed in 2014 along with a coolant system flush, and service in August 2018 included an oil/filter change.
A copy of the window sticker lists original delivery in Georgia and an MSRP of $62,600. The seller states that service records dating to 1991 are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists previous registrations in Missouri, Indiana, Nevada, and Rhode Island.
