This 1991 Acura NSX is a largely stock example in Formula Red over black leather that was acquired from its previous owner of five years through a BaT auction in August 2017. Power comes from a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, and a timing belt/water pump service was performed in 2012 at roughly 74k miles. The car was fitted with a new factory steering wheel three years ago, and the seats were reupholstered in 2017. This NSX now shows 86k miles and is sold with an accident-free Carfax report, partial service records, and a California title.

Body panels are finished in Formula Red, and though no accidents are listed on the Carfax report, the driver-side rear quarter panel reportedly shows signs of having been repainted in the past. The seller recently had the front bumper repainted to alleviate chips and scratches.

Side and rear windows wear a dark aftermarket tint applied under previous ownership. Later-model 7-spoke wheels are mounted with Kumho Ecsta SPT tires, and the previous owner noted that aftermarket shocks were installed.

The seats were reupholstered in black leathery by the previous owner in 2017, and the steering wheel was replaced with a new factory unit roughly three years ago. Both the air conditioning system and factory stereo are said to be functional, though the seller notes that the radio tuning controls do not always work.

Power comes from a 3.0L C30A V6 that used dual overhead cams, VTEC variable valve timing, and titanium connecting rods to produce 270 horsepower when new. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Service records from prior ownership show a timing belt and water pump change in 2012 at approximately 74k miles. An oil change was recently performed according to the seller.

The Carfax report dates from before the seller’s purchase and shows a mileage inconsistency in 2012, apparently leading to a branded title. The car passed a California emissions test when acquired by the current owner, who is selling it in favor of a 2003 model.
